This subject was inspired by a good painting friend of mine Alan. This image shows a typical scene of days gone bye when chaps enjoyed a pint in their local pub. The little terrier looks on hoping to taste the last few drops from its owners glass. I hope it brings back a few memories for you.www.trevorlingard.co.uk

I find this watercolour absolutely delightful! I particularly like the way you define the shapes with the fewest brushstrokes possible. The colours are very harmonious, too.
