Manchester as changed considerably over recent years. The buildings with glazed facades compliment the surviving old buildings I feel. Painted on full imperial Bockingford paper and with large brush. This subject appeals to me with at touch of old and new.

I wish I could imply people and building details like you've done so beautifully (as always) in City Life (Manchester)! I was watching the video in your last post, which reminded me of a more detaled one you'd posted a few months back, which I now can't find. Any chance you could remind us of the date? I'd love to have another look at it...

I watched in awe at you painting at Patchings yesterday, the wonderful way you paint people without drawing them, and the loose style, wonderful.... I look forward to going on a painting break with you when you start at Pear Tree Farm next year.
