A liking for beer

This subject was inspired by a good painting friend of mine Alan. This image shows a typical scene of days gone bye when chaps enjoyed a pint in their local pub. The little terrier looks on hoping to taste the last few drops from its owners glass. I hope it brings back a few memories for you.

There certainly is a great mood to this - as well as compositional excellence. Bravo, Trevor!

I find this watercolour absolutely delightful! I particularly like the way you define the shapes with the fewest brushstrokes possible. The colours are very harmonious, too.

I'm sure I've come across pubs like that today. The colours are just right and you've painted the cloth like a master.

Me parece magistral, la síntesis, el colorido casi monocolor y la luz, para admirar y estudiar
