A challenging composition but one I relish.
Of course I have used one of my own photos to capture the moment.
I would not dare attempt this composition without a reference.
I have tried to capture the panic of the young woman has she shares the bird food with these venetian pigeons.
Not exactly Mary Poppins is it?
More like Alfred Hitchcocks "The Birds".

Fine thanks Trevor.
I'm certain you would have had more comments but blogger has been playing up again.
This isn't a subject that many people would attempt, I think, but you have managed it beautifully. I like the colour of the birds.
Hi Trevor,
Hope all went well with that lady, those pigeons can be intimidating, more like cickens so fat and lazy! It's a great scene missing is the shoosh sounds of those wings when they attack!!!! Happy painting
you've captured a wonderful moment and memory trevor...super watercolour ..we can't feed them anymore
So good!
Hi Keith
Thank you for your comments.
Indeed it was a challenge.

Hello mariano
It great to hear from you again.
I am sure the lady survived the attack. Her coat might have needed a clean afterwards though.
Hope you and your family are well.
Best Regards

So excellently done, my friend!!
This one gave me a big smile at all the excitement displayed so well.
I like the passerby giving a sideways/over the shoulder glance at all the commotion and keeps on going along.

You indeed have a good eye.

Oh, this is just great. You have certainly accomplished your mission - her panic at the situation getting out of hand is evident. And I love the man walking away with just a backwaqrd glance. Wonderful work.
Oh, beautiful!
I love all your work Trevor. You catch masterfully the fleeting moment and, although you will need a photo for this Watercolor painting, the truth is that it seems that you've painted there!
Congratulations!
This is my favorite!
Hello Trevor, I have a beautiful oil painting of London in the rain with horse drawn buses and carriages signed Lingard. Would this be your work?
