Artwork by Trevor Lingard
You are right, it conjures all sorts of questions. Where are they going, where have they come from? It leaves us wanting more, always a good thing I think.
Oh, I agree. Very thought-provoking. The placement of the blues for composition works very well.
The color, composition, flowing and beautifully done,
Very interesting for sure... Nicely done..

I love it! Paintings that let the viewer 'fill in the blanks' about the possible story behind the image are my favorites. Love the subtlety with the loose flow of colors punctuated with details like the point of her heel.
Hello SheilaYou are so very observant of the subtleties. I think he is in a hurry to collect his winnings dont you think?Kindest Regards
Nice sense of movement. Fresh color. Loose brush strokes. Thanks for sharing. Love it! xoxo

This is a beautiful composition..the feeling of movement in a still frame!I can feel the air on my face....and brilliantly done, too!
Beautiful Painting, Trevor. I love the flow of the woman's gown - Well done!
Very nice! I love the casual way the woman's dress (or shawl or wrap or whatever it is) is flowing off her shoulders. Lots of nice movement in her clothing! Lovely colors too.
Yes it certainly adds a bit of mystery just seeing the backs of them. Really like the airy quality Trevor
