Artwork by Trevor Lingard
excellent work. very crisp and clean. every stroke plays an essential role in the painting. thanks for sharing....
I love the way you seem to be able to imply people, with not a wasted brushstroke in the whole crowd. Are those Tilley hats I see? Nice to think there were some Canadians in Rhodes that day.
oh beautiful ! what you did with the light , makes me feel like to be there taking sun ( it is winter here now , i am freezing , your work helps to warm up the room )
Lovely as always!!
Your work is very fresh and immediate. It reminds me a little of John Yardley, but you have your own style, of course. I'll be following your blog too, looking forward to the next painting.
Hi Trevor, very well done on this watercolour, painted "alla prima" smart brush stroke economyFernando
Oh to be in Rhodes now that Summer's here! I can almost feel the heat. Your paintings are always so wonderfully atmospheric.
Wonderful piece, Trevor..the sun is so welcoming! And I envy the way you attempt and achieve such terrific crowd scenes...
Off course, Canopies, umbrellas are very bright and add colors to our work, I liked the shadow most..Well done! I would never dare to paint such art! :(
Lovely! I can almost feel the blazing sunlight while looking at this./Jenny
